Charter Celebration of our Club
On June 11, 2022, around 50 guests gathered at the Karnburg Winery to officially charter the newly founded Rotary Club on October 24, 2021
“RC Carinthia Connect.”
The special feature of this club:
“Our club offers Carinthians who live in other federal states or even abroad the opportunity to be a member of a Carinthian Rotary Club. Such an international club exists in the district only once so far, namely in Vienna.”, said the founding president Patrick Schliefnig, who comes from Wolfsberg.
The 20 founding members were now officially accepted into Rotary International by means of this traditional event and were presented with the founding certificate by District Governor Leo Steiner.
In the course of this founding celebration, a considerable amount of donations could be collected by means of a raffle.
